General Electric WPRE6150HWT Top Load Washer

I have to admit, I was a little bit hesitant with purchasing this washing machine. I have had nothing but Whirlpools in the past and had good luck with them. And I had read quite a few negative reviews on GE. However, my 4 year-old Whirlpool washer was clearly a lemon (3 major repairs in 4 years) and needed to be replaced. For the new one, I wanted Energy Star and a slightly larger capacity and so I decided to take a chance on the GE. Was I ever pleasantly surprised!

The GE washer has been outstanding. It is by far the quietest washer I have ever owned. After only one load, I noticed that my whites were coming out even whiter. The extra spin cycle gets the clothes so dry, the dryer has much less work to do. And the extra washer capacity is great.
