Disappointed....

My mother-in-law decided to buy us a new washer and dryer to replace our 5 year old set, even though there was nothing wrong with them. We agreed, and she and my wife picked out the GE, mostly because her the mother-in-law just got her own set and loves it. Lowe's delivered on time and set up was a breeze. The delivery guy stated that the dryers are great, but they had been having a "few" problems with the washers. OK, he wasn't gone 2 hours and our laundry room floor was full of soapy water an inch deep. They came out yesterday and replaced it with one right out of the box. Guess what? Same thing, it leaks all over the floor and now there is a light burning smell coming from the tub, and the clothes do not even get rinsed. It will literally take 2 hours to complete a 40 minute cycle because the thing won't keep running. Both machines are going back tomorrow, and I won't own another GE product. PS-Lowe's has been great, very sympathetic, and I have nothing but good to say about them.
