If you've got a choice, choose professional over home edition.......

The Bottom Line: XP is a vast improvement over 98, professional is much more stable than Home edition in several areas. MS policy of activation can get aggravating.

Best OS for the masses

The Bottom Line: If you don't have the time to learn Linux or the applications that your livelihood depend on are slaves to Windows products then XP is THE way to go.
Review: I'm not a huge Bill Gates fan so don't let my title fool you, I am an unwilling slave to Windows products.
However, after struggling for several days to install Fedora4 on one of my computers, I gave up and purchased my third license of Windows...
