Works wonderful, much better than Vista

The Bottom Line: I would get XP professional over any of the other Windows operating systems because of it's speed and reliability.
As of now it is working perfectly. I like the speed and the graphics. I have yet to get any blue error screens. I have this operating system on all of my computers and have not had any problems. Unlike Microsoft windows 98 where I had several errors and immense memory and speed issues. I would definitely recommend professional over home edition, many more options.
The options in customizing are great, you have many options to choose from if you just look for them, by changing how you view the menus you will have more options available. I however did not like the new defragging application; it did not seem to work as well as 98. Other than that XP was much better than any other system I have used.
I really enjoy the new applications that come standard in the new OS, the desktop options are great, and depending on your graphics card you can take it far. I do not plan on upgrading to windows Vista anytime soon, from what I have seen of that operating system it is much slower and uses many many more resources than XP ever did. I am certain that XP professional is the absolute best option for anyone wanting a OS with significant speed.
