The Best cordless phone.

We bought this Panasonic KX-TG1032 to replace a GE set that was poor in general. That was over a year ago.
The reason for switching to Panasonic was motivated mostly by reviews for this product. They also had a decent warranty.

The choice was a good one. Haven't regretted changing to this Panasonic phone. It's versatile so we had a choice of buying up to four phones in a package. We only need 2. The phones are all basically the same model regardless of which of these (1032,1033,1034) packages you buy.

The first thing that I noticed with the Panasonic 1032 handset was the improvement in sound quality. There is a lot better clarity on this phone! No buzzing or static crackle. Volume stays level, no fading out. I can use this phone in the backyard and that's 50 feet away.

Charging is never a problem. The phones have never gone dead or depleted their charge. Just put the phone firmly in the recharger base and forget about it.

These phones have the DECT 6.0 technology rather than the 5.8. So that was a technological advance.

The speakerphone is very good.
The LED screen displays caller ID in large enough digits to be easily read.
The ergonomics of this phone is very good. It's fairly straight with little contouring, but it fits comfortably in my hand and there are no buttons to accidentally bump. The keys are soft, but resilient. They are layed out well for easy navigation.

The main base has a load of features, volume, phone locator button,answering machine.

The owners manual had clear directions for beginning to use the phones, including the amount of time for the intial charge-up.

I see that the price has come down since we bought this phone package. I feel that we got more than our money's worth and I see no reason why we wouldn't be using these phones in another year or later.
