Absolutely wonderful phone

Since I finally had it with my previous GE GARBAGE cordless phone I purchased this phone after reading many reviews. I'm soooo glad I went with this and couldn't be happier.

The buttons are nice and large, call quality is great, ringers are nice and loud, etc.

With my previous phone I couldn't switch handsets by simply picking up the other one. (It would just beep and nothing would happen) I would have to "transfer" the call to the other one and that became annoying.

Also with my previous phone when I would play Guitar Hero (wireless on PlayStation 2) I would have to unplug the phone because of interference. I'm not sure if it was due to the fact that it was on the 5.8 Ghz frequency or it was the GE phone itself but with this new Panasonic I have no problems.

The answering machine is a nice feature however I have it shut off (simple on/off button which is great) because Verizon includes the voice mail feature in my home phone package.

Cons:

As someone else mentioned too, the caller ID feature could have been enhanced. It requires a little more work to scroll through and delete them than a normal left/right button and delete key. This isn't a big issue though once you figure it out.

Turning the ringer off is about a 15 step process as opposed to having a hard switch or like my old GE you pressed 4 keys in a sequence.



All in all it was an excellent purchase.
