Tungsten's Got Nothing To Do With It

Date of Review:  Mar 23, 2006
The Bottom Line: Great for contacts, tasks, appointments, photos and portability of some MS Office documents.
Review: OVERVIEW

For some reason Palm decided to name this little PDA "Tungsten" - but their isn't an ounce of Tungsten in it. Well, its an OK name, but I didn't buy it for the name, I bought it due to an unfortunate accident.

After four...

Don't Expect Palm Products to Last

Date of Review:  Apr 6, 2006
Review: This is the second Palm product I've owned, first a Visor and now a Tungsten E. Both crapped out on me after about a year of use. The batteries started lasting only a few minutes before needing to be charged again, and the part of the body where you...

Will NEVER buy another Palm product

Date of Review:  Jan 5, 2007
Review: I had two Handspring Visors which I destroyed by dropping them. Sigh. I had to replace them with something and since the Handspring used the Palm OS and worked really well I didn't think I wanted to change operating systems.

I checked with...

Had problems with two of these...they are bad news and so is Palm's warranty

Date of Review:  Jan 26, 2008
Review: I've never been more disappointed. I bought a new Palm Tungsten E2 for $199 plus tax. Within 2 months, it quit and would not turn on. Only a hard reset would fix it.

I turned it over to the store where I bought it and they replaced it with...

All you need in one convenient package

Date of Review:  Jan 15, 2006
The Bottom Line: Highly recommend the Tungsten E2. It does just enough to organize, categorize, and stabilize your life. Surfed a lot and found best price from Buydig on Epinions.
Review: I purchased the Palm Tungsten E2 as an upgrade from my Palm IIIxe. There was nothing wrong with the Palm IIIxe an I used it religiously for about 5 years. The only problem was that I purchased a new computer with Windows XP and getting the software...

Got it For Free! :)

Date of Review:  Jul 10, 2007
Review: I enjoy having a palm to carry around to keep track of all of my phone numbers and what not. Course, that could be from my phone not even working at the moment, but in any case it's definitely useful.

I find the priced value of it to be a...

I want my old 3C back

Date of Review:  Nov 10, 2007
The Bottom Line: I've only owned the two PDA's, the 3C (excellent) and the Tungsten. I'd recommend something else, but I don't ANY knowledge of other products.
Review: I'm somewhat grateful to the sales at Best Buy clerk who strongly suggested the extended warranty. In fairness, Best has been very tolerant of me, every time I return, grumbling about the latest problem with my Tungsten. I shouldn't blame them for...
