palmOne: Ready to Drive Your Life?

Date of Review:  Jun 19, 2005
The Bottom Line: The former PDA king is quite capable of releasing an almost great handheld, but reliability issues of the LifeDrive are immense.
Review: It has been 3 years that I resisted temptation to get a new PDA, mainly because my Sony Clie PEG-NX60 did such a great job with my daily routine that it simply wasn't necessary for another incremental improvement for a significant expense. Well,...

PalmOne LifeDrive

Date of Review:  May 17, 2006
The Bottom Line: I would recommend this to anyone who is already used to the Palm OS.
Review: My teenage daughter has been bugging me for months now to get her a laptop or PDA so she could use it for her school work. I guess I waited a bit too long to get her one before school got out since she has less than two weeks to go before summer...

Driving the Lifedrive - a bumpy ride

Date of Review:  Jul 13, 2005
The Bottom Line: Although there are still improvements to be made, this device is really useful, so buy it
Review: I was very excited when I heard that a new Palm was coming out. Since I got my first m100 six years ago, I ve watched developments with interest. Over the period, I ve upgraded to the m505 and the Tungsten T. I was tempted by the Tungsten T3 but in...

Good job yet again for PalmOne...

Date of Review:  Jul 7, 2005
The Bottom Line: Great PDA for power users (especially tech savvy business professionals or college students), and BeachCamera.com sells them for only $422!
Review: I have been using and relying HEAVILY on PalmOS handhelds since the late 90s because I cannot remember a thing if I don't write it down...

After my Tungsten|E recently suffered an untimely death (busted screen), I decided to see it as an...

Lots of capabilities but performance is not what I expected

Date of Review:  Jun 14, 2005
The Bottom Line: If your looking for an PDA, and MP3 playback is a priority, don't buy this one. The mp3 player skips and pauses like the original CD players.
Review: This was my first PDA purchase. I did a lot of research before buying this one, and ,from looks ,it probably is by far the best deal for the price. 4GB of memory, wi-fi, bluetooth, mp3 capability, video, internet. It's got it all. But I was not...

A pocket assistant made for a giant

Date of Review:  Mar 14, 2008
The Bottom Line: A palm is a wonderful thing to own, but not this one!
Review: I bought this PDA (my first) for use in nursing school. I do use it frequently for accessing databases while working in the hospital. I was also surprised to use it frequently for playing games during down time (i.e., waiting for an oil change),...

Palm Life Drive

Date of Review:  Dec 22, 2005
The Bottom Line: I recommend this if you are a Palm lover, and if you know how to tinker with computers. Otherwise, stick with the new Palm TX which is more user friendly.
Review: When I decided to buy a new PDA, I did my research. Using www.pcworld.com, www.consumerreports.com, and www.amazon.com, I narrowed it down to the Dell Axim 53v and Palm LifeDrive. I actually went to the mall to hold the Dell (they have a Dell...

Horrible Product, Even Worse Support.

Date of Review:  Nov 1, 2005
The Bottom Line: Avoid this product. It requires constant resetting, and the support for this product is practically nonexistant.
Review: I purchased the LifeDrive thinking it would be a great device to have with my on my vacation to Italy. With a large hard drive, I could transfer digital photos to, and I could email directly from the device using WiFi, not to mention sync to my Mac...

Associate Palm LifeDrive with the word 'Slow'!

Date of Review:  Oct 1, 2005
The Bottom Line: Don't get this PDA! It's slow, bulky, and crashes frequently.
Review: With my crazy, hectic schedule my boss offered to buy me a PDA to get me organized. I chose the Palm LifeDrive Handheld. I admit this is my first PDA I've owned, but I have fiddled with many including the Palm Zire 31, Dell Axim X50v, and a couple...
