Apple Macbook Pro 17 in. (MB166LL/A) Notebook

I am on my 4th laptop and after spending a lot of money and time doing performance mods to them I thought I would start at the top.I did a lot of research and made a point of trying to avoid the consumer hype in advertising.It dawned on me that the one mod I always ended up making to the software was loading a Linux based system because of the problems with adware and viruses.So I decide to look at Mac notebooks which on the surface seemed over priced at first,that is till you take in to count the processor performance you get and the quality of all the hardware in general.I looked hard at all the Mac laptops but when I saw the 17 inch Macbook Pro I knew this was what I was looking for.
