Hi, I'm a Mac, and I'm a PC... FWHOOOSH! PC? Where'd you go? PC?

by   openroad ,  Dec 15, 2007
Pros: Light, thin, very fast in web browsing and everyday tasks, Leopard included, useful software suite.
Cons: Not a great choice for video or photo-editing in stock form, not cheap at $1,100.
The Bottom Line: Wow, I'm absolutely thrilled with my MacBook. It's powerful-enough, easy to use, sweet to look at, and comes with tech support based in the USA... what's not to love?

The iPhone Revolution has begun

by   banditosway ,  Jul 9, 2007
Pros: artistic sleek design, revolutionary interface, phone/music/video convergence at its best
Cons: pricey for a phone, a bit slick to hold, no GPS or 3G network
The Bottom Line: Updated: Since no 2.0 version had been announced at Macworld '08, if you were on the fence then NOW is a good time to get one.
Review: Wow. No other words seem to be able to accurately capture this device better than ... Wow. Apple has done it again. Regardless of your opinions of Apple you have to give them credit, they know how to launch a product. The Skinny I'll ...

Changed My Life...

by   motomille ,  Sep 11, 2007
Pros: The best phone ever!
Cons: $200 cheaper... hope you didn't buy it in the beginning.
The Bottom Line: It's THE phone to have... and it's THE easiest to operate.
Review: It's crazy... I never thought a device would change the way I use things and look at other devices... but the iphone did it. I love my iPod. I listen to music and download podcasts to listen to NPR and other talk type radio. I never did get a video ...

13" MacBook is as Sweet as Apple Pie!

by   kwoodcox ,  Nov 17, 2007
Pros: Lightening Fast, Gorgeous Display, More Compatibility with Non-Apple Products, Built-in Webcam.
Cons: All plug ports on left side, same old one-button touch pad.
The Bottom Line: It takes some adjusting, but the MacBook is well worth the time and money it requires.
Review: This laptop replaced my old iBook from 2002. I realize this is a significant upgrade, but I am really loving this computer! I used PCs exclusively until 18 months ago. There is definitely a learning curve in making the switch to a MacBook, but it's ...

The shape of things to come

by   larwe ,  Jul 8, 2007
Pros: User interface is amazing. Integrates three appliances into one slick bundle.
Cons: 2.5G network, no support for recording movies, no chat application.
The Bottom Line: If you already own any two of: Internet-enabled cellphone, WiFi Internet tablet, PDA, iPod or other media player, then the iPhone is a must-have upgrade.
Review: You've all seen the iPhone a million times, even if you've never been in an Apple or AT&T store. There are MILLIONS of reviews of the device on every forum you can imagine. While there might be some remote tribe in the middle of the desert somewhere that ...

Love it.

by   superduperbaby ,  Oct 5, 2007
Pros: Simply the best computer so far.
Cons: When I think of something I'll let you know.
The Bottom Line: If you have the opportunity to do so, buy this computer. It will not disappoint.
Review: I just got this one to replace the four-year-old G4 PowerBook I had (::sniffle::), and it's like holding on to a lightning bolt! The display is amazing - very clear and bright - I actually caught myself thinking the other day, "I don't remember that ...

The Macbook is a workhorse!

by   utsahan ,  Dec 9, 2007
Pros: Ease of use, nice design, great software.
Cons: The wait to speak to customer support can be long at times.
The Bottom Line: The question is not to get a Mac or a PC. The question is which Mac to get. We have the Macbook featured here and are satisfied with its performance.
Review: I have had a PC. But it wasn't until I got a Mac that I got into computers. If you do your research you will find that Macintosh is the best choice. The software you get with the Mac if you had to buy for your PC would make the PC cost way more than the ...

I used to be a hardcore PC fan and then I went to grad school...

by   braedyn ,  Aug 25, 2008
Pros: sleek design, lightweight, great programmes, easy to use
Cons: price
The Bottom Line: Buy this laptop if you want a laptop that allows you to do more than just check your email.
Review: With only four PCs in the computer lab, I was quite literally forced to use a Mac desktop during my Technology in Education class. After just a few weeks, I was hooked. I am now a teacher with her very own MacBook! There are so many more features on a ...

Pros: fast, easy to use, never breaks or gets a virus.
Cons: none
The Bottom Line: This is the best laptop to buy. It is easy to use, it never breaks, and it will not get a virus.
Review: This is the best laptop I ever had. I like it for three main reasons. First, it never brakes. Everybody I know who had this laptop, said it is the best computer in the world. That is why I got it. By the way, a few months before I got the apple, I bought ...
