Awesome computer!!!

The Bottom Line: 2.16 GHz, 2GB memory speed, memory, plenty of everything. (except word and excel). Windows can be bought for the mac but WHY? This computer is awesome as is.
I am so glad we bought a mac! We got tired of adware, spyware, viruses, etc..so we switched. We haven't had one problem.
I've been able to burn DVDs easily with no extra software to buy. Of course, if your DVD is copyright protected you probably won't be able to copy it still.
The software is already there for people who like to turn videos into movies. It's pretty easy to use which is a good thing since I'm no computer genius.
For those who enjoy writing music, the mac comes with "garage band". Create your own songs using your piano, guitar, etc.
There is no bulky thing by your legs to bump into, it's all right there in front of you. A big plus for those of us with limited space.
The built in camera is a pretty neat feature. It makes it easy to send that overdue picture to the grandparents.
Do you enjoy drawing comics? You can with the mac. Need a calendar? It's right on the desktop and ready for you to fill in with your appointments.
The buying experience was neat, very kid-friendly. They had computers for the kids to play on while we shopped! You can set up an appointment to learn about your computer. Very helpful for newbies.
This is an all around great computer. Yes, it's more expensive but that's also why there aren't as many viruses. Fewer people have them. I'm pretty tight with money, I pick and choose where I spend it, so believe me when I say it's worth the cost.
