Pros: comfortable keys, great functions
Cons: totally incompatible with laptops
This reviewer does not recommend this product.
Review: The keyboard driver software will cause your keyboard on the laptop to freak out when it is not connected. This feature is mostly only visible when you are connected to a projector (as in giving a presentation in front of important people). The main...

Pros: Good hand positions, nice padded support, programmable function keys, and volume control.
Cons: Stiff and difficult space key. Poor tactile feel to other keys.
This reviewer does not recommend this product.
Review: The keyboard has good hand positions, and a lot of nifty features such as volume control and programmable "favorites" keys. Most of the keys are very light and easy to push, but the space key has a serious problem being activated. It may be due to...

Pros:
Worked great before it broke Cons: Lasted for 18 months
This reviewer does not recommend this product.
Review: Bought the MS Natural Ergonomic 4000 keyboard about 18 months ago. It was a good keyboard until it three keys quit working (one letter and 2 on the keypad). No idea how to fix it and had to buy another one (not MS) before throwing it away.

Pros: Padded wrist rest, ergonomic split design
Cons: Stiff keys, unusable space bar, lack of customer support
The Bottom Line: If you really need an ergonomic keyboard, and can teach your thumb the precise spot to press the space bar then this may work out for your.
This reviewer does not recommend this product.
Review: This review is for the Microsoft Ergonomic keyboard, I ve been using numerous keyboards over the last 20 years and touch typing for the last 6 of these years. My purpose in purchasing the Keyboard 400 was to reduce some of the wrist and finger pain...

Pros: Comfortable layout, useful shortcut keys, low typing noise
Cons: Very wide keyboard, U key sticks, some oddly shaped keys, awkward spacebar
The Bottom Line: Try one out in a store first. If it is comfortable then buy it. Make sure that the keys work properly.
This reviewer recommends this product.
Review: The spacebar should have been split in half. Pressing it at a comfortable typing position usually doesn't feel like it triggers it well and it seems to miss frequently. Try it out an in-store demo first! It feels like trying to press a key from the...

Pros: Comfortable, well thought out, programmable keys
Cons: Large footprint, have to buy extra instead of coming with the computer
The Bottom Line: The Microsoft Ergonomic is a good keyboard to help you avoid repetitive motion injuries in your hands and wrists.

Review: Microsoft Ergonomic Keyboard

Pros: Outstanding extra ergonomic keyboard support: Padded wrist support and height adjuster. Stylish sleek black look.
Cons: Lack of working functioning keys and difficulty of getting technical support.

Review: Natural Ergonomic Keyboards/Split keyboards are a must for me and I have used them for years. I purchased this keyboard because of the variety of function key and shortcut features. I am disabled and can't spend a lot of extended time on the...

Pros: Its black, has a padded wrist area and lots of advanced features.
Cons: Slightly quirky feel to the layout. HORRIBLE reliability problems.
The Bottom Line: A lot of people seem to love this board but I would never buy one again or recommend it unless I hear they drastically improved the durability of the KB.
This reviewer does not recommend this product.
Review: I confidently predicted the 4000 would be my perfect KB. I loved MS KBs in the past. I used the Natural KB and the Multimedia MS ergo KB, which Im using right now. Eventually the cords would short out and the keys would fade a slight bit, so I would...

Pros: Keyboard and its software are great.
Cons: Forces installation of MS mouse software, which might interfere with non-MS mouse or trackball.
The Bottom Line: I recommend this keyboard if you like the ergonomic design. Be aware that it forces installation of MS mouse software as well, which you might not want.
This reviewer recommends this product.
Review: Once I got everything working, I loved this keyboard. The problem was that the installation software complained that it had to remove some other software that might interfere with it. It didn't identify what this other software was, even when it...
