Microsoft Natural Ergonomic 4000 Keyboard (B2M00012)

The keyboard has good hand positions, and a lot of nifty features such as volume control and programmable "favorites" keys. Most of the keys are very light and easy to push, but the space key has a serious problem being activated. It may be due to the curved shape it has being at the top of the triangle, but for whatever reason you have to hit it directly in the middle and with quite a bit of force to get a space. I never realized it but this is the key you use the most, so it becomes quite a problem. A coworker who has the same keyboard gave me the same feedback, so I think it is a design defect.

Although the other keys are light they don't really give you a good tactile feel. They tend to feel too light and airy rather than like a quality key. You don't know the key is pushed until you see the letter appear. It is hard to describe how you can have a light touch key that feels strong and accurate (like my Dell laptop) but the 4000 doesn't have it.
