Who Needs Cards When You Can Shuffle Music?

Date of Review:  Apr 28, 2005
The Bottom Line: A wonderful way to listen to music. It's affordable, it holds about 120 of your favorite songs, it's easy to use, and the sound quality is rich and clear.
Review: Call me slow or passe, but up until a month ago I considered MP3s and downloading music a fad that would go the way of 8-tracks and mini-cassettes. That's when my husband begged me to buy him an iPod Shuffle. Apparently, his friend at work had one...

Poor Man's iPod

Date of Review:  Jan 24, 2005
The Bottom Line: If you need portability above all and just want music wherever you go, this is the player for you.
Review: In the portable music player market, few can compete with the legendary iPod. Since its debut in 2002, the ipod has enticed more than 4 million buyers with its size, capacity, simplicity, and style. When Apple introduced the iPod shuffle in January,...

The one iPod I did like

Date of Review:  Jan 3, 2008
The Bottom Line: If you're looking for an easy, no fuss player, I recommend searching for the first gen iPod Shuffle.
Review: It's no secret that I dislike Apple's overpriced iPod series. The bulk of their catalog isn't worth the money, especially when you can get a better sounding player for less. iPod is number one for its sexiness and advertising; many people just do...

iPod Shuffle - Tiny, but Gets the Job Done.

Date of Review:  Dec 27, 2005
The Bottom Line: If you're looking for an inexpensive iPod to play at the gym or at work this is perfect. If you have the cash and a huge libary of songs don't.
Review: The Apple iPod Shuffle (512 MB) is a mini-iPod. About the size of a stick of gum and weighs less than that. There are two iPod shuffles out on the market currently: this one and the 1 GB one. The only difference being the amount of songs each one...

Needs a Black Case

Date of Review:  Jan 29, 2006
The Bottom Line: Don't waste your money for players that cost 3-4 times what this one does. The Shuffle is great for daily in car use.
Review: I recently purchased mine (for myself) after having bought the larger capacity and more expensive iPod for someone else this past Christmas. After having spent a week with this device I think it is a good buy.

USE:

Great little gadget, hard to shuffle through music

Date of Review:  Apr 12, 2006
The Bottom Line: Great designs looks and feels like LEGOS like you have when you were kids. Only 1 oz., simple to use, holds lots of music, great battery life.
Review: Going to the gym now is a joy. I'd lug my CD player or radio before the iPod into the gym barely having enough room on the cardio equipment to put it. Now with the iPod Shuffle I can carry this little device around anywhere. I even listen to music...

The Apple Design, But Not An Apple Triumph

Date of Review:  Feb 8, 2005
The Bottom Line: Don't be seduced by the hype and marketing: Buy a REAL MP3 player that works right more times than not
Review: I resisted the iPods, and iPod Minis ... but I HAD to have a iPod Shuffle. MP3 players aren't new, though with the recent popularity of the iPods you would think they were just invented.

I've been a portable MP3 player owner since 1997...

Well worth the $99 - all I need and it works perfect

Date of Review:  Feb 21, 2005
The Bottom Line: Great for a user who wants their music readily available, at a price that can't be beat.
Review: How They Get You
I did not want to buy a "full size" iPod. I am a radio guy. Flipping through radio stations is how a commute is supposed to be done. My wife, she is the iPod person. Can't go anywhere without it. It should be surgically...

Your Own Radio Station!

Date of Review:  Jun 18, 2005
The Bottom Line: Get one so you can really fine tune what you listen too and create lists of only your favorites. Easy to use and carry.
Review: I already have a 15 GB iPod I love, but found myself sometimes relunctantly leaving it at home if I thought it was going to rain or if I just didn't feel like babying it.......what's interesting is I was already utilizing the "On The Go" playlist...

Great for runners, bad for music enthusiasts...

Date of Review:  May 18, 2005
The Bottom Line: Use this for the gym or running, but if you want a primary MP3 player, go with Mini or bigger.
Review: I started out by telling people how dumb an idea I thought (initially) the shuffle was. I was not into the idea of a lack of display, and so little memory but now...

I have been using a 4GB mini for about a year now, which eventually I...
