Great little gadget, hard to shuffle through music
Date of Review: Apr 12, 2006
The Bottom Line: Great designs looks and feels like LEGOS like you have when you were kids. Only 1 oz., simple to use, holds lots of music, great battery life.
Going to the gym now is a joy. I'd lug my CD player or radio before the iPod into the gym barely having enough room on the cardio equipment to put it. Now with the iPod Shuffle I can carry this little device around anywhere. I even listen to music while playing basketball. I just put the 1 oz. iPod in my pocket and I'm set for 120 songs of music. I'm not one of those people that need the latest and greatest so I wouldn't trade my iPod for a new and improved 2 GB for example. I like the iPod Shuffle's simplicity. Who needs 500 songs to listen to at one time? One minor qualm I have with the iPod is it's hard to navigate through the 120 songs, there is no LCD interface obviously. The other issue I have with the iPod is as far as I know you can't delete songs directly off the iPod Shuffle you have to use the provided software to do this. The negatives are minor ones I'd recommend the iPod to anyone even over the more expensive MP3 players. You won't use all the features anyway what you need is provided in the iPod Shuffle. It's light weight, holds a ton of songs, and has an amazingly long battery life.
