Apple ipod mini - Blue

I purchased the 4gb ipod mini for my 9 year old daughter for her birthday in March 05'. I was concerned of how well she would take care of it and be able to work it. She now loves it and so do I. It is so simple to use, even a child can download music and play music. It is that simple. As to how sturdy it is, we haven't had one problem. Before I purchased it I had heard the rumors about the battery. That once it goes it is hard to replace. Well I purchased it at Circuit City and I would recommend buying the extended warrenty for the extra money it is well worth it. It is covered for two years, all I have to do is return it to the store and they give me a gift card for the price I purchased it for. I can then use the gift card for anything in the store. The only problem is I will loose all of the music we downloaded on it, but to solve that problem we keep a backup of all her music on CD's. This ipod is a must for children for long car rides or long waits in the dentists office. I have nothing bad to say about this expensive toy. We loved it so much now everyone in the family has their own.
