ipaq 1945----Almost Perfect.

Date of Review:  Jan 25, 2004
The Bottom Line: Recommended for everyone who needs a good and solid PDA, with the few reservations above.
Review: I have owned an ipaq 1945 (referred to as the 1945 from here on out) since Christmas. This pocketpc is nearly perfect. It has plenty of memory, speed, and expandability.

This thing is darn sexy! About the size of my m505, but much more...

HP IPaq 1945 - Very Good PDA for the price

Date of Review:  Apr 20, 2004
The Bottom Line: Bluetooth, slim design, nice screen, and Windows OS make the iPaq 1945 a winner. Unless you "need" Wi-Fi, this is a perfect PDA for the price.
Review: I have owned the HP iPaq 1945 since November of 2003.

After six months of ownership, I have good things to say about this handheld.

In the Box:
When you open the box you will get the handheld, battery, stylus, audio cable...

IPAQ 1945

Date of Review:  Jun 16, 2004
The Bottom Line: Keep looking.
Review: HP products was the only option at a local computer store for a Pocket PC, so I bought an IPAQ 1945. The reason I picked the 1945 was because it was $100 cheaper than the other HP IPAQs. The product functioned as advertised, and you could not tell...

Love the 1945, best for the $'s

Date of Review:  Aug 8, 2004
Review: I decided to upgrade from a older Sony whose battery had dies. I wanted bluetooth, color, speed and reliability and ease of operation. I am almost 50 and the eyesight is not what it used to be, so a good display was essential.
In the ipaq 1945...

Great for the price!

Date of Review:  Dec 1, 2006
Review: I already purchased the same IPAQ and loved it so I am buying another one for my dad. Its great for the price. Like any other product it has some down sides but not enough for me to want to return it.

Great PDA for the money-Buy It

Date of Review:  Mar 2, 2004
Review: I recently bought the iPAQ 1945 after my Sony Clie crashed and died completely, which I bought after my Palm III crashed and died completely.

So far, I love it. The color, the speed, the easy integration with MS Outlook and the memory...

Very Cool Toy, Still Doesn't Compete With Palm in Real Life.

Date of Review:  Jun 10, 2004
The Bottom Line: Go Pocket PC if you want more toys and don't need to get to many files quickly. Go Palm if you're a business user who needs to access data instantly.
Review: This is more a review of the Pocket PC/ Windows Mobile 2003 OS in contrast to my 4-year experience with Palm units, rather than the Ipaq 1945 itself. The ipaq is really just a shell for the OS anyway. The unit is built well and has ok battery life,...

Great Tool, almost perfect otherwise

Date of Review:  Jun 10, 2004
The Bottom Line: Buy it, does all you need and more
Review: Experience has been great. I bought it to sort out my multitasking life and needed perfect Outlook functionality and compatability. Got that. Super easy audio recording and I am security paranoid but so far very happy also in that respect.

Loved mine, but not very durable for a real life

Date of Review:  Apr 4, 2004
Review: I've had my PDA for 6 months. It WAS a very functional and handy tool for work (Critical care & Flight nursing) and a great unit to read ebooks on. While on a flight with the unit in a leather case the first screen cracked out. $187 & 3 weeks later...

Buyer Beware

Date of Review:  Sep 30, 2004
The Bottom Line: Stay away Very cheap construction and with the bad warranty.
Review: When I purchased my Ipaq 1945 in January 2004 I was amazed by what it could do. Some of the highlights are fast speed , multi tasking , upgradeable, and the amazing color display. But after 4 months the Screen internally cracked after a hot sync...
