Not a good TV

Date of Review: Dec 22, 2006

Bought this TV because of the price and picture quality. Wrong decision. After 93 days (warranty is 90 days) I had the same problem as many other reviewers. The TV turned on but no functions of remote or on TV controls worked. I brought it back to Walmart who said I had to contact the manufacturer. Their policy is to mail it back to them. Absurd for a 32 inch TV. After almost 2 hours of screaming, I got a new TV (thanks to my wife). I have had this one for 3 weeks now and the remote is bad. can only press 1 button at a time. You then have to unplug the batteries and put them back in so it will press 1 more. I will try the Sony Universal Remote mentioned elsewhere in these reviews. If the TV breaks again, I will not get it fixed, but get a Brand Name that I could get serviced locally.

Recommended to buy: No

Pros
the picture is very clear. It has a low profile which I like also.
Cons
Terrible tech support. Their quality control seems to be seriously lacking. The remote is "cheesy".
