Looks like a great LCD HDTV for a great price.

The Bottom Line: Excellent picture, could be a tad sharper, nice colors, ok sound, great build quality, high refresh rate, low price. Hard to beat for the price.
My review may not be for everyone, as I bought this mostly for gaming with the Xbox 360. I exchanged my original ILO 2600 for this because I just wanted a bigger screen. (Incidentally, the 26" was just as nice). Great picture; not the sharpest LCD picture, but I like the color, contrast, and refresh rate which shows no ghosting that I can see.
The Polaroid FLM 3232 I recently tried had a sharper and brighter picture, but I found that one to be too contrasty and too bright; the blacks were muddy and the whites were like looking into a flourescent light. The settings didn't help a lot. This is important to gamers, because that can really wear on your eyes after some gaming time, because video games tend to be contrasty to begin with.
Anyway, I have no problems with the ILO's remote. I like it because it IS sparse, yet gets the job done quickly. It has some instant-access screen presets, including one user preset. The only downsides to this TV are that there's only one component video input and that there's no VGA input for use as a PC monitor (however, there IS a digital input and an HDMI input). Neither of these are a big deal to me.
For gamers, this is a great LCD. I've been playing Quake 4, Oblivion, Burnout Legends, Tomb Raider, and a bunch of original Xbox games as well. The screen is fabulous, and it's not so bright that it gives you eye fatigue after an hour. It's just a nice, warm, clear image.
