Great headphones with decent bass response
Date of Review: May 28, 2007
The Bottom Line: I feel these headphones offer above average sound quality, fantastic bass response, good fit and a unique design. I think the price is good too.
These buds are probably the best performing for the price.
The nearest sounding/quality buds cost over $150, but the difference these have is bass response.
They fit fine in my ear, and I understand they have since redesigned the headphones to fit better.
They offer an overall sound that is pleasing and has a decent amount of bass.
I'm not the only one with this opinion, I urge people to check out head-fi's community forum where you can find more information about headphones.
Yes, I agree they are expensive but at $70 they cost me, they are fantastic.
Bose technical support is fantastic on supplying additional silicone tips if you loose some.
If you feel your current buds lack bass, these are the ones to look at.
If you are after perfect quality - then buds are not your thing. Look at Grado's full blown headphones, but for buds I think these are a reasonable choice.
The packing case is great, but a little annoying after time to keep wrapping up. The only other niggle is the pointy 3.5mm jack.
Other than that I think they are great for great sound and fantastic fit. Why not check them out at your nearest Bose store? This is how I found out these might just work for me, after many years of being dissatisfied with conventional buds.
These to me are fantastic, fit well, sound good and produce bass that others can't match.
