Amazing Audio and Design, but one Major Flaw...
Date of Review: Aug 24, 2007
The Bottom Line: Great headphones, best for the style and price easily. The earbuds constantly falling off is a huge problem though.
I received a pair of these Bose Tri-Port In-Ear Headphones for free from a Bose representative and a meeting and was delighted to find out these are at the top of the spectrum for in-ear headphones. These are about as good of audio as you'll get for in-ear headphones, the bass is great, doesn't overtake, and the audio is just incredible. The design of the headphones is odd, but works well and even though they don't feel like they are all the way in, they are. I'm a Cross Country runner, and they stay in the whole race. The audio is unbeatable. When they are all the way up, you feel like you are at a concert. Especially with a good Live performance. The sound isolation is perfect, as other people can't hear what your listening to even at high levels, and they block sound pretty nicely.
There's one MAJOR flaw with these headphones though. The earbuds themselves fall off constantly. Even though Bose has re-structured the earbuds and is shipping free replacements out, they still fall off. That's a pain. Although you have to give Bose credit, as you can just imput your address, and they ship you three free earbuds.
Incredible.
These headphones are excellent, but only if you can manage to keep them in their case as like said before, the earbuds constantly fall off.
