Pros: portability
Cons: no sat signal way to often, you cant depend on it.
The Bottom Line: The lack of satelite signal makes me suggest you pass on this system.

Pros: Speed of acquiring satellites, user interface, accuracy, ease of use. Quick mount/dismount, fits in pocket.
Cons: Very minor cons. Deleting addresses could be quicker, accessory universal mount would be handy.
The Bottom Line: If you're looking for a auto navigation system, this is the gold standard that you compare the rest against.

Review: I'd wanted a GPS navigator when I got lost on the way to a customer. I looked at several, read a lot of reviews and felt the Garmin Nuvi 350 was the one to buy, so I did. In the Circuit City parking lot, I inserted the plug into the accessory...

Review: I purchased a Garmin nuvi 350 in May 2007. The satellites went out while on a long distance trip to the East Coast. We were lost in a rural area and spent a lot of time trying to find someone who could help us get to an interstate. The unit never...

Pros: Compact, feature-filled, simple & intuitive to use
Cons: About $100 to $150 more than the average portable GPS models
The Bottom Line: Wonderful, feature-filled device with intuitive menu on a bright, clear touchscreen. Very portable and good battery life. No looking back. Just travel with ease and confidence.
This reviewer recommends this product.
Review: I've been enjoying the ease of use provided by the Nuvi 350. The devise packs the necessary array of useful navigation tools along with a few features that may be useful to some, but certainly not essential.
Quickly, right out of the box,... |

Review: After having the Garmin nuvi 350 GPS Receiver for approximately one year I do not know how I survived without it. You just type in the address where you want to go and it takes you there, it s really that simple. The size of the GPS was what first...

Pros: small, portable, SD card reader, JPEG picture viewer, no monthly fees for the basics.
Cons: price, system not yet "perfect"
The Bottom Line: I would buy this system again, but I suspect in the next 5 years I will replace it for something newer and more accurate as the technology improves.

Review: I decided I wanted a navigation system after driving a rental car in Germany with a built in system. I was debating between the TomTom, which I saw work in Germany, and the Garmin Nuvi. After reading reviews of the TomTom, I was lead to believe that...

Pros: Size, Battery life, Features, Accuracy, Screen brightness, User Friendly, Wow factor
Cons: Aged mapping, POI database inconsistency, Not hard-wire friendly
The Bottom Line: With prices dropping by more than 1/2 since its initial release@ $970, you're running out of reasons to keep procrastinating. Functionality teamed with endless options makes this hard to pass!
This reviewer recommends this product.
Review: Procrastination had pushed off the idea of a GPS unit for years, mostly because of the skyrocketing prices when they first showed up. However, in the late 2006, I was rather surprised to find that many high quality units could be had for fractions...
