Garmin nüvi 350 Car GPS Receiver

I traded in a garmin c340 for this nuvi 350,what a mistake ,there are a few more features on this unit that I love, its size makes it so portable and its mounting system has been a pleasure,whether you mount it on the dash or the windshield its worked out fine for me.

The biggest problem I have is looking at the "acquiring satelite signals" way to much,somedays I cant use the gps at all and this system is truly a neccesity for me,also the battery will not last no way near as long as the manufacturer claims it will,3 hrs tops !! also the screen suffers from sun glare badly and it becomes very difficult to see,this was not the case with my garmin c340,and my previous system always had satelite signal,you would think that an "upgraded model" would be all about improvements but it seems like they made some things better and many things worse ,overall I wish I could get my old system back,after reading so many reviews Im wondering if the flash upgrades that im about to do will bring more harm then good,it seems like the signal acquisition is a very common problem ,actually the most common problem,I think garmin should most certainly address this issue,I wouldnt be surprised if this resulted in a class action suit,there seems to be way to many people with the same exact problem,read the reviews you'll see .

I havent mentioned all of the other features this system has because it can not deliver on its primary function, so the secondary features are honestly not worth discussing ,afterall this is a navigation system not a mp3 player or a translator,there I mentioned them anyway
