Excellent Coffee !

To address the "Con" reviews first, for people with water softeners or people who grind their own coffee extra fine, there is a flow restrictor FREE from Bunn that prevents the water overflowing the filter paper cup. For the people that mention that the water is kept hot in the rear tank all the time wasting electricity, the TOTAL number of watts on this machine is 900, but 50 of those are for the front carafe warmer, 800 are used to heat the water in the tank to 200 degrees, then the last 50 are used to keep the water at temp, once the 200 degree temp is met. Keeping the equivalent of a 50 watt bulb lit all the time uses very little electricity. You can also make as little as four cups of coffee, or as many as 10, it just depends on how much water you pour into the top. Read the instructions people! The coffee maker makes great coffee that only takes 3 minutes to brew. Nothing has broken and the machine looks very handsome in it's stainless and black jacket sitting on our counter. It is also convenient to make coffee because everything is accessible from the front. Our old coffee maker had water added at the back of the machine and coffee grounds in the front, requiring that we pull the coffee maker completely out from under the cupboards each time we made a batch of coffee.
