Lots of bounce, more game play, and more randomness
Pros:
More games, more suits

Distracting bounce, impossible achievements, seemingly random volleyball play.
The Bottom Line:
If you liked the first one, go ahead and pick it up.

Author's Review
As a diehard devotee of DOA:XBV, I was quite anxiously awaiting the release of this game. It didn't let me down, but it didn't live up to my expectations either.
First of all, I do love that they expanded the game. Adding the jetski game really improved the game, especially when you were looking to earn cash for presents. The waterslide was a good addition, but the fact that it was only one level and rewarded you minimally for what was quite a hard task really reduced its overall value.
I do like that they tried to make the volleyball more difficult (as anyone who played the first game knows, after ten hours or so of game play you could ace it 7-0 with no problem). However, they made the volleyball a bit too random. It seems that no matter what I do, I will miss several shots, simply because my character chose not to move in time.
The bounce it probably the low point of the game. I am a large chested female, and let me tell you, my breasts do not defy gravity the way these girls do! They can stop moving and their breasts are still bouncing for 15 seconds. I'm quite confident in saying that they would be unconscious pulling the stunts that they do.
Additionally, the achievements are very, very difficult in this game! I have played 50 hours and still haven't gotten even one. They are all based on collecting suits, and this is quite difficult since the suit inventory changes three times a day.
Overall, it isn't a bad game. But it lacks the spice of the first one that kept me playing for over 100 hours.
