Great compact for anyone

I bought my 2004 Scion XA manual for 12.5k and couldn't have been happier for the last 4 years. My fiancé bought a 2005 XA special edition (Just to show me up I think). We park our little raisin cars next to each other all the time. With the hatchback I can fit my entire mountain bike in without removing the wheel. We have also moved twice with only our 2 cars, so space is certainly not an issue. The only drawback I think I can find is when you need new tires. Though it might have changed now, there were only 2 choices in the width of the scion tire. In the end I probably was only forced in to a higher quality tire, but I'd prefer to at least have a generic option. I did have to get a new power steering pump about 1k miles after my 40k warranty expired, they asked $800 for parts and labor but I installed it myself only paying $350 for the pump. Another negative could be the dash and most exposed plastic has little textured divots in it, a nice texture but it hugs dust when you’re trying to clean it. It also pulls in lint from regular cloths you could wipe it down with.
