Artemis Fowl

This book is about a 12 year old boy who is extremely smart and rich. He lives with his mother who has gone mad when Artemis's father was killed by the Russian Mafia while he is on a barge. He also lives with his massive bodyguard, Butler and Butlers younger sister, Juliet. Artemis and butler kidnap a fairy named Holly and hold her ransom for 1 ton of fairy gold.
The plans are incredible, the characters, strong, the technology, fascinating. But will Holly be able to survive? And will Artemis get his fairy gold? What about Angeline, Artemis's mother? Well, you need to read the book to find out.
