Adorable Movie

The Bottom Line: A worthy addition to your home dvd collection.
When our family goes to the movies and sees something we love, the first thing we say is "When that comes out on dvd we are going to buy that!". Cars was a definite need to have in our growing collection of children's movies. This is a movie that has something in it for not just the children, but also for the adults viewing it. The humor is clean and funny. One of the best parts of the movie viewing experience is figuring out that most of the characters giving life to the voices are ones that we love and know well from other movies. As an adult, that is the fun part for me figuring out - where have we heard that voice before. Owen Wilson is extremely funny as lightening McQueen. Larry the Cable Guy is also a star performer as the rundown, falling apart tow truck Tomater. This movie tells a life lesson of how pursuing your dreams at the cost of friendships is not worth the goal and all that glitters is not gold. It has fantastic music that adults will readily recognize and tap their feet to. The movie also takes you on a journey of the more historical aspects of Route 66 and helps you to understand the pros and cons of a fast paced life. All in all this is a very cute movie with alot of features that will entertain both adults and children. A very worth addition to any home dvd collection.
