A quality fictional read.

Pros: A free flowing, nonjudgemental work, and an American Classic.
Cons: Like many writers, Styron sometimes dwells on descriptions of the mundane.
The Bottom Line: This fictional historical book is worth more than a read, due to it's engaging characterization and winning prose. You won't be disappointed, if you have a thinking critical mind.
