Makes a Bad Situation funny!

"Remember the American Dream? For those of you too young to have experienced it, this is what it used to be:
If you work hard, and your company prospers, you, too, shall prosper.
That dream has gone up in smoke. It has been turned into the American Bad Dream:
If you work hard, and the company prospers - you lose your job!"
I know this is true because we lived through it last year. Maine is known for lobsters, the paper industry and it used to be known for the shoe industry. Well, the shoe industry has moved to Mexico and the paper industry is being bought out and cannibalized by companies that aren't Maine-owned or even American-owned any more.
This book is written by Michael Moore, the creator of "TV Nation" and "Roger and Me". It is a great book that tells all about "corporate terrorism" and "dirty politics". It is done with humor and you definitely will have a chuckle or two reading this book.
Moore pulls no punches and no holds are barred. He satirizes politics(both parties), welfare, unions, NAFTA, government, the penal system, the federal budget, General Motors, militias, corporate crooks, O.J., Bob Dornan, Pat Buchanan, Cuba, Steve Forbes, Wall Street -- and more! You name it!
This is a fun read and you learn something to boot! Great fodder to cultivate your conscience.
Corporations saw to it that his television show "TV Nation" was removed from the air, and it was hilarious, but they couldn't stop this book! It's a great book and one I'm sure you will enjoy.
