Monkees Music Box ROCKS!!!!

I have always liked the Monkees. I owned the first five albums when they first appeared but never collected any other after they broke up because I didn't think that they made any more. To my surprise, they made many more albums later on.

The Music Box has 4 CD's and 99 cuts and I am sure that every song that the Monkees had ever done is on here. It most certainly has all the songs from the first 5 albums.

I got it on line at Amazon and it cost me about $60, including shipping and handling. It was worth the cost! If you like the Monkees, and only have a few of their albums, get this CD box and you will have everything a Monkee fan could ask for.

There is also a fabulous book that comes with it. It tells the story of how the Monkees came to be, what the press did to them -- calling them American made Beatles and all that rot --, the breakup, the "sort of" reunion and it includes stories about the songs -- how and why they were written, where the ideas came from and so on. It has beautiful pics of all the guys. It shows them on the show and in concert. It also has an album discography and liner notes of ALL of the songs and shows the original album covers. It also gives some websites you can visit.
