60's Pop Music At Its Pre Fab Best

The Bottom Line: A great history of a group underrated for too many years, along with an excellent history and recording notes.
Review: It's not uncommon to see a once-battered artist's reputation be rehabilitated over time. Look at Herman Melville, for example, considered rather a dim bulb when he first published Moby Dick, now he's the Great American Novelist. Or Vincent Van Gogh,...

Monkees Music Box ROCKS!!!!

The Bottom Line: BUY IT! BUY IT! BUY IT! Even if you are just a little bit of a Monkee fan.
Review: I have always liked the Monkees. I owned the first five albums when they first appeared but never collected any other after they broke up because I didn't think that they made any more. To my surprise, they made many more albums later on.

The Bottom Line: I strongly recommend this to Monkees fans. I would even attempt non Monkees fans to convert to the lighweight pop sound of the Monkees.
Review: Do not let the price make you become doubtful of the worth of these four CD'S. This a compilation of nothing but the Monkees at their best. It contains songs such as: I Wanna Be Free, Saturday's Child, and of course Daydream Believer. I feel no...
