The Bottom Line: Contains first 2 Albums by TMBG and several bonus tracks not found anywhere else. Awesomely unique, creative and toe-tapping as TMBG always are.
They Might Be Giants - Then: The Early Years is an awesome buy for any and all fans of They Might Be Giants. It contains 72 great tracks from thier first two albums AND several bonus tracks that can't be found anywhere else. Being music from their first two cd's, it showcases very well their unique sound in its earliest years of developement, giving you a big taste of their incredible creativity, and musical talent. Their lyrics, as always, are goofy and sometimes cyriptic but insightful as well, and always entertaining. The information booklet included also tells the reader all about their early years as TMBG, as well as something interesting about how the songs were made, and the lyrics for all of their origional material.
