The Grinch
Date of Review: May 10, 2000
"How the Grinch Stole Christmas" is one of the best animated shows that I have ever viewed. This show is about a Grinch who is so mad at the happiness of the family and their children that he decides to take all the happiness away from them. As everyone goes to sleep on Christmas eve, the Grinch and his little dog go on an adventure dressed up as Santa Claus. They go to each persons house, down the chimney and steal all the gifts, Christmas tree and anything that represented Christmas.
In the morning when everyone wakes up, they find that everything has been taken away from them. Even though the families of the town were left with no gifts and no trees, they still came out and gather around and begin singing Christmas carols. As the grinch drives away in the sleigh with all their gifts and all their trees, he is caught up in a conflict where the gifts are so heavy that he almost falls off a mountain. From this, the Grinch realizes what the real meaning of Christmas is and gives everyone back their presents and trees.
This movie gives you 26 minutes of your childhood back. It is a family cartoon for all ages. It gives a great message about what Christmas should really be about. You really should watch this show. It is a great Christmas cartoon and it will be a cartoon that you and your entire family will grow to love.
