Horrowitz is the average 13 year old's dream come true. A teenage spy!!!
Date of Review: Dec 1, 2005
The Bottom Line: Buy this book because even though you might not find it exciting, your son would. Trust me.
An everyday kid gets easily bored by reading boring stories, and even if it as a shooting adventure one, the one who kills people is always an adult. I know this, I AM a 13 year old boy. I always wanted to read a story with the main character, a teenage boy, who somehow is allowed to kill people. I wanted one so desperately that I actually tried to write one, but I didn't get that far. When I found out this book was out, I was the first to buy it. Any boys dream come true. My only wish is that he made it into a computer game, that would be cool! I know that is the last thing that is going to happen in this world, but you can always dream. Anyway some boy called Alex, his uncle dies, who was a spy, and Alex takes over for him. Pretty cool, eh? I suppose you lot are a little older than me, but when you were younger didn't you wish you were a spy? So if you get stuck for a present to buy your son or nephew or just your next door neighbour, remember what you read on the epinions website and say "hey i remember that kid who put that review on that book". I just saved you a hell of an embarrasment by giving this person a cool book instead of chocolate or a photo album.
