Produce restaurant-quality rice fluffy to perfection

The Bottom Line: If you want perfect rice that's easy to prepare, and an appliance that's easy to clean and store, this is a must have rice cooker. It's worth the price.
I love to cook, but I hated cooking rice. It was always under or over cooked. The Zojirushi performs as advertised. Produces restaurant-quality rice fluffy to perfection. Now I can make perfectly cooked rice every time with minimal effort.
The appliance has an LCD display with clock and timer function. I haven't used the timed cooking function yet because the remainder of my meal preparation and cooking time usually coincides with the rice cooking time.
Just add the rice and water, close lid and select the rice type, press the "Cooking" button and walk away.
A melody plays when the unit starts and when the rice is ready. The unit's automatic keep-warm function keeps rice at an ideal serving temperature until it's ready to be served. The LCD display shows the count-down time, and the warming time.
The minimum quantity of rice to cook is 1/2 cup to a maximum quantity of 3 cups of rice. Regardless of the minimum or maximum quantity, the rice cooks perfectly in this machine. It's the perfect size for our family of 2 adults. If you have a larger family consider the next larger size cooker.
The unit cools down quickly, and the removable spherical inner nonstick cooking bowl and a detachable inner lid makes cleanup quick and easy. The built-in retractable cord and the appliance size make storage a snap. (I wish all of my small kitchen appliances had this feature.)
Accessories include a measuring cup, nonstick rice spatula, and spatula holder.
