Don't know how I got along without it!

I love rice but could never get it to come out right, so I hit the web and learned that many Asian households use rice cookers. So that's their secret! After much research, the Zojirushi brand kept popping up with favorable reviews, so I decided to get one for myself.

I got the smaller, no-frills model, and I'm very happy with this choice. It makes just the right amount, and it's a small, handy size to use. No big heavy clunker taking up space on my counter. And I really had no need for a unit that would keep rice warm for hours, as I usually use it right away.

It's so easy to use and I just set it and forget it. The rice is done in no time at all and always comes out perfect. About the only additional thing I do is add a half packet of chicken or ham bouillon to the water for added flavor (Goya's is good).

My only regret is that I didn't get one of these sooner! I don't know how I lived without it. I now find myself making many more rice dishes now that it's so easy.
