All the rice cooker that the average person will ever need

About 10 years ago I bought an American rice cooker of the sort that you can find in the Walmart for about $25. Since the inner cannister was not non-stick, I had to scrape off the bottom every time. Eventually I got rid of it.

Since then, I have generally made rice in the microwave but getting the timing right was not easy. Generally the rice came out either over or underdone.

About a month ago I began to consider buying one of the fancy fuzzy logic rice cookers, but decided to give a simple rice cooker one more try. I bought the Zojirushi 3 cup cooker and used it last night for the first time. The rice came out PERFECT and the nonstick cannister was super-easy to clean.

I made rice for 3 people in this cooker and could have made it for another 3 based on the capacity. I am extremely happy with this appliance and strongly recommend to anybody looking for a simple and inexpensive way to cook rice.
