It's the Best!

Date of Review:  Jan 18, 2000
Review: **UPDATE** 10/10/00
I've been using my bread maker much more often since I began working at home. I make at least two loaves a week now, and this bread maker is up to the task! The only bad loaf I've had in over three months is one where I...

You rise to the level of your tools

Date of Review:  Sep 11, 2005
The Bottom Line: If you want really good bread the easy way, buy it!
Review: We love our Zoji BBC-x20. We bought it because of the recommendation that it could make great whole wheat bread. We have not been disappointed.

I love the flexibility. The homemade settings (the ones you can program yourself) allow you to...

Fabulous home-made bread that looks like bread from a bakery

Date of Review:  Nov 28, 2006
The Bottom Line: This is an outstanding bread baker: it does what it is supposed to, and it does it well. It's worth the price.
Review: Ah, the smell of fresh-baked bread. There's nothing quite like it, and the invention of the home bread baker has made this luxury vastly more accessible to everyone. True, anyone could, in theory, do the whole thing by hand… but kneading and...

My Bread and Butter!

Date of Review:  Sep 5, 2001
The Bottom Line: Fantastic quality and workmanship produce quality breads, doughs and jams. This is the bread machine for people who are serious dough makers and bread eaters.
Review: Five years ago at the urging a friend, my husband purchased the Zojirushi Breadmaker for me. I really enjoy baking and breadmaking was my newest hobby. Since we eat 2+ loaves of bread a day in our house, I thought it would be fun to try making...

Okay, but a little disappointed.

Date of Review:  Apr 12, 2005
The Bottom Line: This is fine for straight forward bread makeing. Get the Breadman for more control like pause and auto add cycle.
Review: I've had mine for about 6 months and compare it to the Breadman Ultimate I had for 3 years.

The two blades do a good job of mixing but usually get stuck in the bread, leaving Two large holes in the bottom instead of one. Why hasn't anyone...

Break Bread for Life

Date of Review:  Jun 5, 2000
Review: I read about bread machines on the food boards of America on Line. Everyone was saying how great the Zoji was. Well the price was expensive but in life you always get what you pay for in the end. The machine was over Three hundred dollars. I studied...

TERRIBLE Quality Control at Zojirushi

Date of Review:  Jan 26, 2008
The Bottom Line: KEEP YOUR RECEIPT and ONLY buy this machine from a company where you can return it if needed.
Review: The folks at Zojirushi must have the worst quality control department. Before purchasing this machine I did research for several weeks and about 75% of the reviews I read and received directly were great. The other 25% ran the gamut from "so-so" to...

5 Year User Replacing Pans & Paddles AGAIN

Date of Review:  Dec 16, 2006

Bread Machine Replacement

Date of Review:  Dec 17, 2002
The Bottom Line: This machine performs as advertised. I would recommend it to anyone.
Review: My bread maker, after years of service, decided to add grey Teflon to the bread. While Teflon is relatively inert, it is not too nice to get a piece between your teeth. So, time to look for a new machine. After searching the internet and reading...

Confused by the Negative Reviews

Date of Review:  Mar 27, 2008
The Bottom Line: A little pricey but a very satisfying purchase.
Review: I had a DAK bread maker for over 16 years and it finally died. To find a replacement I did a lot of reading and research and settled on the Zoji. I figure the positive reviews outweighed the negatives by 95 percent to 5 percent. Note that this was...
