Wow!! Save Time & Money Making Your Own Bread!! Makes Jams Also!!! Love It!!!

Date of Review:  Mar 25, 2006
The Bottom Line: I highly recommend it!! It's great, works wonderfully, eliminates using the stove's oven for some things, and makes wonderful bread!
Review: WHY THE ZOJIRUSHI BBCC-X20 HOME BAKERY SUPREME BREAD MAKER?

First, let me point out that I own two wonderful & powerful K'Aid Stand Mixers. Absolutely nothing wrong with them at all. I've made excellent bread dough with them both, and they...

The Jury is Still Out

Date of Review:  Jan 18, 2005
The Bottom Line: I would not recommend especially if the user does not make a lot of bread. The price is high considering the quality of the bread I have experienced so far.
Review: I am a very heavy bread machine user and have gone through at least 5 machines over the last 15 years. This is my first Zojirushi and I wanted to treat myself since all the other brands I had previously had wore out quickly and I always ended up...

The BEST Bread Maker We Have Owned!

Date of Review:  Feb 5, 2005
The Bottom Line: The one to buy
Review: My wife and I love this thing. We make two to three 1-1/2 pound loaves of whole wheat bread a week.

The loaves rise HIGH (6" or better) and have the classic bread loaf shape!

The texture of our wheat bread is light (not dense)...

Okay, but a little disappointed.

Date of Review:  Apr 12, 2005
The Bottom Line: This is fine for straight forward bread makeing. Get the Breadman for more control like pause and auto add cycle.
Review: I've had mine for about 6 months and compare it to the Breadman Ultimate I had for 3 years.

The two blades do a good job of mixing but usually get stuck in the bread, leaving Two large holes in the bottom instead of one. Why hasn't anyone...

A great way to Loaf around!

Date of Review:  Jul 6, 2008
The Bottom Line: Buy! This machine has the features and flexibility that you need to make many different breads. for best results, weigh your ingredients.
Review: We've had our Zojirushi for about a month now and use it on average of once every 3 days.

We bought it at a "big box" store that offered a 20% off coupon, which lowered the price by around $40.

This is our second bread machine,...

Great disappointment

Date of Review:  May 12, 2004
Review: Used a "Z" machine for over 10 years, when it needed replacing, I didn't hesitate to get another. BIG MISTAKE. This one is EXTREMELY noisy and bread consistency is iffy at best. More times than not, loaves are misshapen. I think the double paddle...

Gluten Free Bread Machine: Celiac Sprue

Date of Review:  Jun 13, 2005
Review: Have tried several different recipes with this bread machine. The best one is the one that comes in the Zojirushi manual. I substituted the 1/2 cup cornstarch for 1/2 cup tapioca flour and the honey with 3 Tablespoons sugar.... Cooked on BASIC...

This machine is not "top of the line" Don't even waste your money on it!

Date of Review:  Sep 12, 2008

Dual keading paddles makes ugly bread!

Date of Review:  Mar 3, 2000
Review: I have made 200 loaves of bread with this machine. I use it daily to test bread mixes that I develop. I consistantly get a loaf that is very mis- shaped. It is bad enough to have to take a ball of dough and shape it into a loaf without the human...
