The best Breadmaker!!!!!!
Date of Review: Dec 13, 1999
I got this product because we love fresh bread but my son has allergies to milk and soy, so it makes it difficult to buy bread at a bakery.
I love this breadmaker, it is so simple, yet works great!!!
You just dump the ingredients in the pan, put yeast in the middle of the flour in the pan, close the lid, and set it for a few hours ( you can set it to be ready for later too).
Pros
-You can control the crust color in this breadmaker
-Makes a horizontal loaf of bread (looks like a normal loaf of bread)
-Timer to set for bread for breakfast or when you get home for work, aaahhh, to walk in the house to the smell of fresh baked bread
-You can bake cake in it!!!!
-You can make jam in it. ( I made mango/pear/cranberry-it is great!!!)
-It has a viewing window, so you can check on the bread
-It has 2 kneaders, making it even, well distributed dough to make a nice loaf (even with my bulk organic whole wheat-heavy flour-, it did a good job, not common in breadmakers)
-Quiet!!!, Unless you are in the kitchen, you don't even know it is on.
-It has a non-stick, easy to take out and put in pan
-Rated one of the best breadmachines. Some prefer this one, some prefer the Breadman. Most of the reviews I have read prefer this machine
Cons
-You could get fat eating a lot of bread
-Everyone will want gifts of fresh jam and bread
No other cons I can think of.
I got this machine at Mercata.com for 157, and it was my first purchase there, so I got 50 dollars off. Shipping is included at that site, so I got a bread machine at my door, 3 days later for 107 dollars.
