Do not make a mistake like I did

The Bottom Line: Purchase this bread machine at your own risk. Make sure you can return it.
I had purchased the Zojirushi V20 in 2002 and loved it. Perfect bread every time. I wanted to update my machine and thought the Zo would be the only one to choose. WRONG!The crust is terrible,it is so hard you can not chew it.It does not matter what setting you put the crust control on it comes out the same.I use the recipe in their book (the one I always used in the V20) I tried the same recipe in my old machine and it was perfect. I returned it to Zojirushi, since the place I bought it won't take it back if the box has been opened.Zojirushi returned it to me and said nothing is wrong with it.They sent a recipe for me to program into it and use that one only.I made one loaf by their recipe, same terrible hard crust and inedible.I can not believe they expected me to use only one cycle on a machine that I paid almost $200.00 for. It is a piece of junk!I do not have a solution for this problem and now I am stuck with a machine I can not use.I would have been better off going to Walmart and buying a $43.00 Sunbeam.
