Epinions Wow!! Save Time & Money Making Your Own Bread!! Makes Jams Also!!! Love It!!!

by  daquan,  Mar 25, 2006
Pros: Makes breads, jams, dough for rolls & pizza, cakes and even sourdough bread!!
Cons: Short power cord. Extension cord of same electrical rating may be used. Controls require learning.
The Bottom Line: I highly recommend it!! It's great, works wonderfully, eliminates using the stove's oven for some things, and makes wonderful bread!
Review: WHY THE ZOJIRUSHI BBCC-X20 HOME BAKERY SUPREME BREAD MAKER? First, let me point out that I own two wonderful & powerful K'Aid Stand Mixers. Absolutely nothing wrong with them at all. I've made excellent bread dough with them both, and they still work ...

Epinions Fabulous home-made bread that looks like bread from a bakery

by  akpalau,  Nov 28, 2006
Pros: Well-made rectangular loaves, flexible programming options, good recipes
Cons: Expensive
The Bottom Line: This is an outstanding bread baker: it does what it is supposed to, and it does it well. It's worth the price.
Review: Ah, the smell of fresh-baked bread. There’s nothing quite like it, and the invention of the home bread baker has made this luxury vastly more accessible to everyone. True, anyone could, in theory, do the whole thing by hand… but kneading and ...

by  wifflebot,  Feb 5, 2006
Pros: Horizontal loaf, two kneading paddles handle whole wheat with ease. Very easy cleanup.
Cons: Machine is large. Crust can brown slightly unevenly.
The Bottom Line: This bread machine has the power to make very hearty bread, and is easy and pleasant to use.
Review: This is my first bread machine ever, and as a Christmas gift, I am really enjoying it. Since receiving it, I have only bought bread once (a loaf of French for French onion soup). Now, I look forward to making my own bread. My husband had originally ...

Epinions Dependable, simple, good results

by  sylvainber,  Aug 20, 2003
Pros: Strong Performer, very easy to use, handles all whole wheat dough well
Cons: Needs more than one programmable cycle; could be quieter (minor factor)
The Bottom Line: I highly recommend the Zo. It has few bells and whistles (and thus is easy to operate) and performs very consistently well.

Epinions 10 yrs old & still going strong!

by  rocketwench,  Oct 11, 2006
Pros: Consistent results, easy to use, easy to clean
Cons: Dents in loaves, expensive, recipe book limited
The Bottom Line: Saves much of the mess/labor/time required to make bread and produces consistent results. Also great as a dough mixer for custom breads.
Review: I received the BBCC-V20 as a gift (cost something like $220 at the time) ten years ago. It has had at least weekly use since then, mostly for white and wheat yeast breads. Over the years I have been able to perfect a recipe for multigrain bread that is ...

Epinions Why the big price drop?!

by  rhubarb,  Apr 17, 2001
Pros: Machine is very quiet, doesn't walk on the counter, makes good bread for sandwich slicing
Cons: Doesn't get up and wash itself
The Bottom Line: Definitely a time and money saver!
Review: I can remember looking at the Zojirushi bread machine ten or more years ago, back when bread machines were a fairly new thing. It certainly was enticing, but at that time there was no way I could justify the cost. I instead went and bought a different...

Epinions Mom of 9 LOVES the Zojirushi for Healthy Bread!

by  NormLoni,  Mar 11, 2003
Pros: Easily Makes Healthy Whole Wheat Bread
Cons: Blades getting stuck/clean-up
The Bottom Line: Because of the ease of use, large loaf size, and money it saves in making fresh, wholesome bread, I highly recommend this for any family!
Review: I was blessed with this Zojirushi Bread Machine for Christmas this past year. I've had other bread machines, but the loaves just are not big enough for our family of 11 and many bread machines just cannot get through whole wheat dough well-enough. The...

Epinions Great bread machine if it lasts!

by  karmawlsn,  Dec 19, 2005
Pros: Sturdy, nice looking, cleans easily, easy to operate, quiet, mixes wheat easily, makes pretty loaves.
Cons: Loaf color slightly uneven, no additive feature, instruction video cheesy, only three memory/homemade settings
The Bottom Line: This is a very nice bread machine. It's a solid machine that's easy to use and makes great, pretty bread. I expect it to last years.
Review: As my first bread machine I'm impressed. I'd stayed away from Bread machines to this point because I really didn't like the shape of the loaves. But when I saw this model and heard it could handle whole wheat I was sold. I asked hubby to buy it for me ...
