American music in Europe

As an American military family stationed in Germany, we are always searching for ways to feel a little closer to home. Having American CD's is a great way to invite home into our car as we travel the roads of Europe. This CD offers traditional hymns such as Amazing grace, newer and hard to find hymnal style songs such as "Clinging to a Saving Hand," as well as classic country tunes such as "The Rose," - all performed with a lot of heart and feeling. This is perfect motivation for the drive to church or even when saying goodbye to a spouse being deployed for indefinite amounts of time. My brother-in-law gave us this CD just before we moved to Germany - Jan 02. It is a wonderful gift to receive for those who are having a dilemma with gift ideas (under $20.00!)

We have listened to this CD continuously for a couple of months and it is still a fresh tune every time we turn it on. My three daughters have learned the words to many of the songs. It's the perfect way to have your kids learn the National Anthem! Lee Ann's voice is clear and easy to follow. My 7-year-old daughter is practicing "Clinging To A Saving Hand," as she plans to share it with our church. The words speak of a wondering child wanting to understand that there is eternal life after death. The wondering child asks to be taught about Paul and Matthew, our Dear Savior's Birth and his walk upon this earth. It's a great collection of tunes that will warm anyone's heart and soul, whether they are sick, in a state of mourning, or wanting to maintain a spirited mood. I would definitely recommend this CD to an undecided patron.
