The worst scanner I've seen

Sorry, I don't have one good thing to say about this scanner. I purchased it online from a place in Florida (now out of business apparently.) They refused to take it back, just 3 days after the purchase, saying I would have to deal with Xerox directly. The scanner itself makes terrible scans, with blotches of grey in different places in different scans using the flatbed. The automatic document feeder (the reason I bought it) ruins photos by putting creases and marks into them. The scans made by the ADF have streaks of random colored lines, all created electronically. (Not by dust or debris on the scanbed.) The software it comes with is terrible. I finally spent $30 to send it back to Xerox and spent a while on the phone with them, only to get a new one which was perhaps even worse. The software rev was newer, yet was missing some features. The old software did not uninstall properly. Half the time the software does not connect to the scanner, returning an error 2000. I cannot recommend this scanner for any reason.
