The X Files...

...ah life before the X Files. Unthinkable now isn't it? I came to the X files after the series had finished, even in the U.K, so i think it's a testament to how good a series it is that I started to buy the seasons on DVD after watching only a few episodes.
One of the few really good quality shows still around these days, the first season of the X files is still one of the best. The ideas come across as really new and fresh, and even though it's just starting out, there are still good, innovative plotlines and superb acting-the characters are strong and well defined without being steriotypical.
I honestly cannot fault this show, it is (in my opinion, anyway) a great example of everything a series of this nature should be.

10/10 - you will not regret trying this!
