The Best Historical Account of Wyatt Earp

I had heard many negative things about this movie...many said that it was too slow and boring. When I hear this about a historical film that is when I like to sit down and view it, because chances are is that the film is sticking to what really happened, and history can be quite boring at times. I enjoyed watching this movie about Wyatt Earp, and thought Kevin Costner did a great job. This story covers most of Wyatt's life, from being a young boy to him as an older man. The events covered were pretty close to what really happened, and not too much was taken to liberty. What I enjoyed the most was the fact that they didn't portray Wyatt as a hero, the portrayed him as a human being. Wyatt had a dark past, and almost was hanged as a horse thief. He became a lawman by fate, and was by no means a saint. This movie showed the good and bad in everyone...the things that make us human.
