Product Review

Tiger Style!

by   Shogon ,   May 23, 2000

Pros:  the fatalities reminded me of Mortal Kombat

Cons:  the loading is pretty long on the Playstation and that one dude who looked like Rayden (& kept his hands behind his back) is hard

Overall Rating: 5/5 stars

Author's Review

I bought this game because it is based on the game "Thrill Kill" which got banned in the US, and those of you who got to play it know that "Thrill Kill" was pretty cool. It is the first game to successfully bring the rap and gaming world together. I am really in to the Wu-Tang clan and Shaolin Style is my favorite game. Plus, it has a really cool story line, and the computer animation was tight.
All the members had their own styles, and some took some getting used to. But you had to be able to master the character you chose during a one player game in order to collect chambers, which allow you to open secrets and unlock hidden players. When you saw the Clan during the story line, it felt like you were watching some sort of cartoon of your favorite rap group. One game that I think is good "Tony Hawk's Pro Skater" for playstation, N64, or Dreamcast.
Also, "Driver" & that new Star Wars game "Jedi Battles" are pretty cool too. Oh yeah, that new Resident Evil game "Code Veronica" is out and it's slammin'."
