Pros: Great graphics; addictive gameplay; nice simulation mixed with arcade action
Cons: A lot of minor, petty annoyances (read review for more)
The Bottom Line: A great baseball simulation for the Dreamcast with only a few minor annoyances.
Review: When Sega came out with World Series Baseball 2K1, I was hoping for a great baseball game for the faithful ol' Dreamcast. The graphics looked great, but there was one major problem with the title -- no fielding. What...

Pros: Better Controls, Gameplay, and more Options(Network, Home Run Derby. Franchise)
Cons: Graphics turned down a noch, too much NFL Blitz-like showboating on homeruns
The Bottom Line: Get it. Best Baseball game out there, and so far of all time.
Review: On Tuesday the 14th, i got on the bus down to EB to see if they had WSB 2k2, since it seemed to get delayed every single week. THEY HAD IT. Little kids running out of the store "the have it!, they have it!" i was pretty excited. I got a copy (one of the...

Pros: Graphics,control,stats,online play
Cons: Still searching!
The Bottom Line: An excellent game, do not pass this one up. If you buy 1 DC game, get this.
Review: Introduction
It's the bottom of the 9th, and your down by 4 with 2 outs. The bases are loaded, and the counts 3-2. Randy Johnson winds up, and smash. The ball soars long and hard and just makes it over the fence. Grand slam baby. If you... |

Pros: great graphics and better gameplay
Cons: Hiding your pitch
The Bottom Line: Arguably wait no dought one of the best baseball games ever made. Probly last baseball game for Dreamcast THey go out wit a bang.
Review: If you did not like World Series 2k1 (which you have the right to hate) Thats no reason for you not to buy this game. Its totally different. Its easier to hit so games are more exciting. Also you can fgield in this game unlike the 1st one. They didnt...

Pros: Animations, number of modes, colorful commentary, sound effects
Cons: Player models and faces, sore losers when playing online, repetitive comments, hit detection
The Bottom Line: Barely making it to earn 4 stars, WSB2K2 is worthy of being owned. Although not perfect, it does do right on what last years version didn't.
Review: Here we are again, one year later with the latest installment to the Sega Sports games, World Series Baseball2k2. After the lack-lusting disappointing version of last years game, Sega had felt that it would only be right that this years version be handed...

Pros: Easy to get into, nice graphics, good one-player mode, fast gameplay
Cons: Collision detection, too easy, camera angles, commentary, lots of little things
The Bottom Line: World Series Baseball 2K2 is the best baseball game for Dreamcast. At least Sega goes out with a high note.
Review: Intro: Im not really into baseball. World Series Baseball 2K2 (WSB2K2) is the first baseball videogame that I ever bought. So what made me buy it? First off, I love sports games. It doesnt matter what sport, because if its ...

Pros: it's fun, very in-depth, and there's is a huge fun factor involved.
Cons: I could go on and on, yet it's still a fun game.
The Bottom Line: Pure addictiveness and fun factor make up for problems that would probably ruin a lesser game. Rent it at least. Then buy it if you enjoyed it.
Review: Here I am folks. Back from my Epinions respite (not that any of you would remember me anyways, but that's besides the point) that lasted a good 6 months. But, alas, now that exams are over and there's no pressure on me, I can get back to doing what...

WSB2K2... another hit for DC |
|||
|
Pros: Wonderful gameplay. Clean graphics. Tons of stats.
Cons: Takes up most of your VMU. Long loading times.
The Bottom Line: Another game that will bring tears to your eyes, to see our fallen DC out of commision.
Review: World Series Baseball 2K2 is a perfect example why Sega has dropped their console efforts, and focused on making great games.
If you played World Series Baseball 2K1 you will be surprisingly pleased with WSB2K2 .... |

Pros: Looks great, sounds good, two-player is a blast
Cons: difficulty needs tweaking, bugs, players need more graphical variety
The Bottom Line: Best baseball game on the Dreamcast and arguably the best on any console.
Review: World Series Baseball 2K1 was going to be the best console game ever, but it was rushed--manual fielding was taken out to meet a July deadline. Baseball games aren't action-packed to begin with; without fielding, the game was a snooze.

Pros: control of the fielders, better pitching engine, and batter operations
Cons: terrible collision engine and the players aren't quit as nice as NFL2k1
The Bottom Line: I would recommend this game for this one very simple reason this could be the LAST baseball game for the Dreamcast.
Review: Here's the low down it is one year later the dreamcast has been pronounced dead as a horse but this is not at all true the machine be going down but sega is still producing games for the system as is third party developers for the system.
