Author's Review

I recently got a little more serious about my woodworking and, as with all my hobbies, I found the need to gather as much information as possible. After searching the web for anything pertaining to woodworking, I was lead to Workbench magazine and was impressed enough to sign up for a year's subscription. After reviewing my first issue, I was so happy with the magazine that I felt the need to order past issues.
I'm finding that the magazine presents projects that are useful to the everyday home-owner. It seems to me that they only publish projects that can be completed by semi advanced woodworkers, without the need of a whole shop full of tools, in a short time frame.
I also like the fact that they show tips and tricks throughout the magazine that can be applied to other projects. I especially like the fact that they show how to build simple jigs to aid with the completion of the projects.
